How Medical Identification Saves Lives

Here’s an example of what I am talking about. One of my high school friends returned to El Paso to visit her mom last year and came into my store. I hadn’t seen her for a long time and over the course of our conversation I found out that she had developed problems with blood clots and was on Coumadin, a blood thinning medication. We talked about medical ID and, as usual, she said she wasn’t wearing any because she didn’t like the way it looked. I showed her my LIFETAG Medical ID products and she reluctantly agreed to have a gold bracelet made with a LIFETAG on it. Subsequently, I heard from her by email that not long after she returned home, she passed out in a public building and the medics, noticing her LIFETAG Medical ID, were able to stop her bleeding immediately and rush her to the hospital, saving precious time and her life. She was extremely grateful to me for convincing her to wear medical ID and for designing something she truly enjoyed wearing.

How wonderful it has been for me to be able to do what I love to do, design jewelry, and save someone’s life, all at the same time. It doesn’t get much better than that! You can read more about how much our customers appreciate our mission and appreciate their medical IDs by clicking here.
